In lieu of trying to belong to any number of societies: Chesterton, Sherlock Holmes, the Inklings, and so on: I propose and establish one of my own. Don your intelligence cap at the door; dust off your logic and imagination; did you bring your inspiration and encouragement? We are shapers, my friends; lit lamps; light-bringers. Bring quotes; poetry should be uplifting and thoughtful, or witty and clever, (or both). Humor is encouraged; laughter is invited back. Pull up a chair. Anyone for tea?

Such a delightful party you hosted! Everything looks lovely and pink and happy. I think I would have loved to be at that party. I have always enjoyed Valentine's Day so much. You certainly looked to have celebrated it well. You are artistic at life Olivia. :)

I love the worn top or your dining room table. Many a meal shared. Many a plate passed. Many a cup of tea lingered over. Many the hours of sweet fellowship with friends and family. That table bears the marks of so many memories for your family. I hope that you never refinish it. Every scuff and ever scratch is a thing of beauty- like smile lines on a face that has known a life filled with joy.
