In lieu of trying to belong to any number of societies: Chesterton, Sherlock Holmes, the Inklings, and so on: I propose and establish one of my own. Don your intelligence cap at the door; dust off your logic and imagination; did you bring your inspiration and encouragement? We are shapers, my friends; lit lamps; light-bringers. Bring quotes; poetry should be uplifting and thoughtful, or witty and clever, (or both). Humor is encouraged; laughter is invited back. Pull up a chair. Anyone for tea?

This is one of my favorite songs ever in the history of songs. I remember the first time I heard it. I posted it on facebook and sent links of it to friends. I wanted everyone to hear it. It's like how CS Lewis talks about praise of a thing being the consummation of our delight in it. This song overwhelmed me and I needed people of like mind to love it and be moved by it as I was. <3 And now it makes me happy to think that you love it with me.
