In lieu of trying to belong to any number of societies: Chesterton, Sherlock Holmes, the Inklings, and so on: I propose and establish one of my own. Don your intelligence cap at the door; dust off your logic and imagination; did you bring your inspiration and encouragement? We are shapers, my friends; lit lamps; light-bringers. Bring quotes; poetry should be uplifting and thoughtful, or witty and clever, (or both). Humor is encouraged; laughter is invited back. Pull up a chair. Anyone for tea?

A very movie Christmas

A few Christmas clips to get you through the day.

I'd like to dedicate this first one to my cousin Jess, who introduced me to Harry Potter...

And this second one is dedicated to my niece, Greta. Can't wait to watch this movie with you!

(why this youtube is called that I don't knoooww)

Plus a bit of Doctor Who for all my fellow fans. This is Christmas in Whoville to me.

Such a classic. I have such a crush on Jimmy Stewart. And I always remember that Tony Dinozzo played this in Mtac for everyone, each Christmas Eve. I like to thing McGee keeps up that tradition.

Because don't we all wish for a little Christmas dance, now and then...

Plus the first time this was every sung on film... and this set is delightful '

Plus this gem I found, for no reason at all.

And just a little NCIS LA love. May contain spoilers. But I can't wait to catch up someday when I'm able to find them at the library.

I promise more of the personal variety tomorrow. Till then, don't forget the giveaway is still live for another week! I'll pick a winner a week from tomorrow. I'm off to wrap presents! I promise pictures. See you, lovelies
